Vassos Kapandais is a sculptor who, despite the volume and the quality of his work remains for the most part unknown, virtually outside the history of Modern Greek sculpture, another victim of the poor historiography of art in Greece. This exhibition, therefore, is held in order to get to know an important sculptor in the hope that, in time, other important artists as well, almost forgotten today, will surface, and we get acquainted with their work, so that eventually we can really talk about the art of the twentieth century in Greece.
